TAGOR
The original layout of this 1970’s 95 sqm apartment in Ramat Aviv included two bedrooms. The complete renovation was motivated by the clients' request for adding a third bedroom, whilst preserving the feeling of spaciousness.
The apartment was designed with a new internal division of functions, including an extended living room, a dining area and an open kitchen, as well as a master bedroom and two children rooms, a bathroom and the addition of a guest restroom. Efficient storage space was incorporated in a thick partition wall, which also serves as separation between the “public” and “private” areas of the apartment.
Natural materials were used, such as hardwood flooring, oak countertop in the kitchen’s island, tinted plywood for the bathroom cabinet and local stone for the entrance hall shelve. Custom-made oak upper storage compliments the dark grey low kitchen cabinets. The general use of natural materials and neutral colors was aimed at creating a refined, classic and timeless background, that could easily host any style of furniture. Custom-made white carpentry elements in the bedrooms and laundry closets create a light and simple appearance.
