Based in Tel Aviv, Israel, Nurit Gil Architecture studio specializes in architecture as well as interior design.
Our philosophy is that architecture and design should capture the spirit of its users. We believe in long-lasting, timeless design, based on natural and local materials. Each project is meticulously studied in order to find its own unique language.
Our work process puts a great emphasis on communicating with our clients and accompanying them through all different stages of the project. Thus, every phase is followed by graphic and technical documents that enhance the comprehension of the space and of the elements composing it. In addition, tables and calculations demonstrating the financial aspect of the project are provided, so that the client's wishes can be efficiently translated into the space.
Born in Tel Aviv, Nurit Gil studied architecture in Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture Paris La Villette. In 2004 she spent a semester in Academie Van Bouwkunst in Amsterdam, Holland, as part of the Erasmus exchange program. She graduated with a master's degree in 2009 in Paris.
Nurit worked for Pritzker Prize-winning architect Christian de Portzamparc in Paris, Terra Firma Landscape Design in Amsterdam, as well as for local studios Gil Architects, Ilan Pivko Architects and architect Rama Dotan.
Her proposal for the 1st Santa & Cole Landscape International Competition (in collaboration with arch. Sara Maillefer) received special mention.
